JWR Inc vehicle and military training services for clients at our Fernley, Nevada location at the Reno Fernley race track and other sites. Sited on the 400 acre Reno Fernley Raceway complex, JWR’s Tactical & Evasive Drivers Course has the ideal asset base to fulfill the training requirements. Facility is convenient to Reno, NV and Naval Airstation at Fallon,NV.

Portions of the curriculum are delivered through classroom presentations and then practical exercises take place on the track or vehicle exercise area. Practical exercises are stepped or gated drills designed to introduce and develop critical student driving skills. Students are assigned to instructors (3 to 1 ratio) where the instructor has full charge of the students at all times.

Training follows the military maxim of “crawl-walk-run”. The average training day last 12 hours; approximately 4 hours are classroom and 8 hours are various practical exercises. Students alternate between classroom briefings and practical exercises throughout the day
